Die Drahtführung (kurz) 13 mm wird zunächst am Polyesterdraht befestigt und anschließend auf das 19-mm-Alurohr geklemmt. Dadurch sorgt der Polyesterdraht für eine sichere und gerade Führung des Rohrs, während es die Gewebebahnen bewegt. Der Abstand zwischen Alurohr und Draht beträgt 13 mm.
